BCF is proud to be supporting sustainable development, and has been since its founding over 6 years ago. Our goal is to finance small businesses and entrepreneurs who understand the importance of doing business in a sustainable way.
Our loans into both urban and rural communities have helped alleviate poverty as very small businesses grow, which reduces the inequality gap.
BCF also promotes gender equality, with females making up 90% of our client base. We encourage clients to act in ways that are client-friendly. We have recently launched a campaign to replace plastic shopping bags with sustainable natural fabrics. Small steps, but BCF is trying its best to live up to the expectations set by the Sustainable Development Goals initiative.
